Not enough compaction! No drainage coil ! No soil mat over the scoria!
Do u put any Under covers to stop weed 🌿🌱 come true ? Love ❤️ your video. 🏁🇦🇺👏👏
You know he's not a real tradie from how he just. GETS IN A CLEAN CAR....
Very professional men who know what they're talking about.
Quick question - after haunching you said to wait two days before compacting. Wouldn't the plate compaction drive the pavers lower into the sand breaking the haunching? I'm completing my project soon and trying to figure out these last steps. I appreciate any advice!
Why didn't you wack the sand too?
Wow! Thank You ❤
LAME, you need to show people how to get it square and not just measure yours and find it magically PERFECT!
Can we mix jointing sand with dry cement to fill the gaps then wet it after? Second question: I've seen builders mix cement and jointing sand and spread it all over the flat bed of sharp sand, put the slabs down, then wet the slabs for a few minutes. What do you reckon? Is it a good idea?
You are nice
Not one can of lager to be seen
Excellent video thanks for sharing
The moment I saw him get in the wrong side of the car I knew this wasn’t someone I should take advice from. 🤣 Just kidding!
Very informative clear and precise demonstration. Much appreciated. Thank you😷
Perfect Video..... And not even one " DISLIKE ". Lol
Sorry to say it No professional paves a job like this Fair enough, some of the basics he explains are true but it’s a slow way to do it I would have that area paved in half the time with the same outcome You don’t need to string line out the whole job if it’s a small patio Also his tip to wet the sand on the side so the sand doesn’t come out underneath is silly as you want to go under the paver with the cement to make it stronger. Metal screed straps not pipe. Compactors of that size compact to a depth of 150/200mm so you just put all your material in and compact on top of both the sub base and screeding sand. I seriously doubt he does it for a living.
Note: They were doing it properly for their own benefit, not doing it how a so called professional does it, saving time so as to fill their pockets.
@@johnbower Nope Just doing it slower and doing unnecessary things Definitely not better There’s a reason professionals are called professionals
Hi, Thanks for video. May I ask you I have prepared my base with road base and compacted it well. Does it have to be 100 % level. It has few high and low spots at few places that I am not able to rectify to 100 %. Would adding pavers sand on next step not fix these few spots. As I am doing 2cm thick sandstone pavers installation how much would you recommend that pavers sand should be poured in. I was thinking 2-3 cm. Please share. Thank You !
What happen to them? Only 3 videos posted.
Great Video!
That was a really good instruction video and will save it and use it when I do paving. What on earth would I do without RUclips lol
Hands down the best video on youtube for pavers. Of all the videos this one shows the importance and how to of grading a base. Thanks!
Information and funny, thanks
excellent and done with humour......great job
Can
Best video on RUclips for paver installation. The attention to detail is truly appreciated.
Not sure how flex pipe works for screed rails lol. I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND using galvanized 1” pipe for this part. Plus, without a containment border the sub grade will just fall out from under the pavers.
👍🍺
The accent made my ears bleed but good video
How international
Old videos like these still explain it better
Best "how to video" on youtube
Good
Nice job 👏👍
very beautifully presented
Good work
Well Thanks to you. Added a new skill. Very well articulated.
so much work but pays off at the end.
Thanks 🙏
gayboys did a nice job, didnt they ?
excellent job lads well done..great video
Don't like pipes T bars much easier .
2 guys and a truck - Industries haha
Andrew Ingleton???
nice job. I will recommend your video to my customers. we are a paving block machine manufacturer company located in Turkey.
Finally found a video that shows how to lay the screen bars...... best subject video on the tube...
Finally, a paver installation video that makes sense, and doesn't gloss over how to level the base material. Good job.
They glossed over how to compact the corners though.
@@bravo2966 Also what happens if after compacting it doesn’t go the 10mm that you thought it would
Being New Zealand, the invoice came to $50k for that job.
Bad experience?
And of course...what they don't tell you - that you can save a ton of money by making your own blocks from homemade moulds for literally cents. Firth would rather charge you some extortionate price like $1.50 each
Great Job I'm going to try this
Excellent video. First class
I prefer using metal scaffolding tubes
